Timeline’s innovations
Timeline is not a simple copy of profiles. It benefits from many additions:
- Pin Post: a major innovation that allows in one-click to place a post at the top of your Timeline for several days. No more duplicated post to support contests or messages. An “Activity Log” Pages gives you a quick view of your Pages history.

New «Boxes» in your Timeline

Tabs and apps with Timeline
As profiles, tabs are much more visible. A major asset for your contests and tabs with content. Your fans will access to tabs more directly. Timeline provides a clearer and more accurate view of your brand. Logically, it’s the end of “Welcome tab.” Your “Cover” will enable you to communicate instead.

New Tabs width : 810 pixels. An optimal size between old tab and applications.

Change of «like» button place on Pages and the new layout of tabs directly involve implementing “Like” for Pages in your application. It’s an important source to recruit fans. We had already fully integrated it on our “Social Graph Script”.

In conclusion
Your Timeline will revolutionize your social presence on Facebook. It will reflect your image and your brand story. A major step to enhance engagement of your fans. The new access to tabs should result better participation rate. Everything is done to delete friction and improve user experience.

Our team is ready to optimize the migration of your Pages to this new Timeline. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce today the launch of Timeline Manager, which replaces the Wall Manager. In the near future we will implement the new features to help you manage your Timeline as easily and well as possible.
